This policy explains how Waring Facilities Management ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you use this website or make an enquiry, and how we use cookies. We are the data controller for the information you provide.

Who we are

The information we collect

When you complete our enquiry form, we collect the details you give us, which may include:

• Your name and company name
• Your email address and phone number
• Details of the job or premises you're enquiring about
• Basic technical information about how you reached us (for example the page you landed on, and - if you arrived from an online advert - the referring campaign)

How we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, carry out any work you ask us to, and keep records of our dealings with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, where you become a customer, the performance of a contract with you. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with trusted service providers that help us run the website and manage enquiries, and only so far as they need it to provide their service:

• Web3Forms - securely delivers your enquiry to our inbox
• Airtable - where we record and manage enquiries and quotes
• Google (Analytics & Ads) - anonymous website usage and advertising measurement

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer records only as long as needed for the purpose we collected them and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are securely deleted. If your enquiry doesn't lead to work and there's no further contact, we remove it in the normal course of housekeeping.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. This site uses:

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) - to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These don't identify you personally.
• Advertising cookies (Google Ads) - only if you arrive from one of our adverts, to measure whether the advert led to an enquiry.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out tool.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
